Prevention Programs

PREVENTION
Palm Medical Group, Inc., is dedicated to minimizing employee time away from work as a result of occupational injuries.  We offer pre-employment physicals and drug screens to ensure the safety and quality of all employees.  In addition, physical therapy and/or chiropractic physicians are available for on-site job analysis and ergonomic consultation for problem or repetitive stress injury areas. These can be scheduled by calling our facility.

INDUSTRIAL REHABILITATION

Palm Medical Group, Inc., offers a variety of approaches for the purpose of testing and determining workers' current functional limitations and successfully rehabilitating workers to a safe return to work environment.

WORK CAPACITY EVALUATIONS
Palm Medical Groups Rehabilitative Department is able to design and evaluate workers' physical capacities and limitations with respect to the following:

•Physical work capabilities
•Overall aerobic capacity
•Musculoskeletal coordination and strength

THERAPEUTIC REHABILITATION
Palm Medical Groups Physical Therapy Department can custom tailor an exercise therapy program designed specifically for injured employees' needs to quickly build strength and coordination for a safe return to pre-injury work duties.  In addition, a custom tailored home exercise program and one-on-one patient education to educate and instruct an injured worker on injury prevention and home exercises to limit the possibilities of future injury and/or aggravations.
